Let The "Waiting Game" Begin!

After more than a year of waiting and saving, today I ordered my very first Erin Condren planner!!!

I cannot WAIT for it to get here!!  I currently use a Plum Paper planner and while it's served it's purpose, my heart has been longing for an EC one. These next couple weeks of waiting will be like waiting for Christmas morning to arrive.

ABC's

I have a small intervention group of Kinders that are really struggling with their ABC's. We can't move on and teach from the current lesson until they know their letters and sounds. So I found this "I Have, Who Has?" ABC card game and played it with them.

Oh my word. They all LOVED it! (Well, "all" except my one napper there. haha!) It was a fun way to practice our ABC's while also learning to follow directions and wait our turn.

I'm a firm believer that learning needs to be fun. So I try to incorporate as many activities as I can in my groups. What activities do you like to do to keep learning F-U-N in your classroom???
